Refund and Return Policy

Thank you for shopping at Anita’s Kitchen. Please review our Refunds and Returns Policy carefully to understand your rights regarding returns and refunds.
Overview
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a full refund or exchange.
Returns
Due to the nature of our products, we cannot accept returns of jam, preserves, or any food items. This policy ensures food safety and prevents contamination.
Eligibility for Returns
For items that are not food products, to be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. However, please note that perishable goods, such as jam, preserves, or food products, cannot be returned.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable:
- Perishable goods, including jam and preserves
- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products
- Some health and personal care items
- Intimate or sanitary goods
- Hazardous materials
- Flammable liquids or gases
Damaged or Defective Products
If you receive a product that is damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at hello@anitaskitchen.co.za or +27 62 150 1103. We may request photographic evidence of the damage or defect to assess the situation. Upon verification, we will offer a replacement or refund for the damaged or defective item, as deemed appropriate.
Refunds
Since we cannot accept returns of food products, we do not offer refunds for jam or preserves. If you believe your order is incorrect or if there was an error on our part, please contact us, and we will do our best to resolve the issue.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at hello@anitaskitchen.co.za and provide details about the issue.
Shipping Returns
As we cannot accept returns of food products, there is no need to return your purchase. For other items that may be eligible for return, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
